Actress Janani, who was last seen in Thegidi, will play the role of a journalist in her Malayalam film, Machuka. Contrary to reports which suggested that Machuka is a bilingual (in Tamil and Malayalam) film, Janani speaking to Silverscreen, denied the claim, explaining that the movie is an out and out Malayalam film which will hit screens in April. She further added that Machuka is a thriller, and she shares screen-space with Pratap Pothen and Pasupathy.
When asked about her upcoming films in Tamil, she mentioned a film under CV Kumar’s production and ‘another biggie’ which will be announced later.
