Vidya Balan had recreated Sridevi’s iconic song from Mr. India, ‘Hawa Hawai’ in Tumhari Sulu. In the Tamil remake of the film, Jyothika will dance to the Malayalam song Jimikki Kammal that had gone viral last year. Lakshmi Manchu, who is playing Neha Dhupia’s character in the film, will also shake a leg with Jyothika.

The song will be featured in the film when the Radio FM team celebrates their success in a club. Producer G. Dhananjayan has formally acquired the rights for the song from Satyam Audios by Lahari music. Director Radha Mohan shot the song in a popular club in Chennai. It will also feature Kumaravel, Sindhu Shyam, RJ Sandra.
Tumhari Sulu released last year on November 17. The film is about a middle-class woman, who takes up the job of a late night radio jockey. In Kaatrin Mozhi, Jyothika plays Vidya Balan’s role, actor Vidaarth will be seen in Manav Kaul’s role. The shooting for the film had started on June 4 and the team shot continuously till July 25. While Jyothika has finished her portions, the film has a few more days of shoot with other artistes. The film was mainly shot in Chennai. Post-production work on the film will start in August. The film will release on October 18.

The film also stars, Kumaravel, M.S. Bhaskar, Manobala, Mohan Raman, Uma Padmanabhan, Seema Taneja, Sindhu and others. While the music is composed by A.H. Kaashif, lyrics are penned by Madhan Karky.
The song Entammede Jimikki Kammal, from Mohanlal’s Velipadinte Pusthakam, went viral last year with even America’s Late Night Show host Jimmy Kimmel tweeting about it. It has crossed 83 million views till date.
For the uninitiated, ‘Jimikki Kammal’ was composed by Shaan Rahman and sung by Vineeth Sreenivasan, Renjith Unni, but the credit for making the song go viral goes to a young Accounts teacher from the Indian School of Commerce (Kochi). Sheril G Kadavan’s flash mob-like representation of the song became a social media sensation.
