Kaalakaandi‘s Trailer Out: Saif Ali Khan In A ‘To Die For’ Role
From the makers of Delhi Belly, a film that was so unlike Bollywood – the kind that is laden with sex, expletives, and poop – have made a film that will surely ruffle a few feathers. The trailer was out on December 6 and has already clocked in over 1.5 million views. The film, starring Saif Ali Khan, is about a man who discovers that he doesn’t have a lot of time in hands thanks to stomach cancer.
“Whatever makes you happy, do it,” says the doctor.
“I’m going to jack off till my dick falls off!” retorts Saif’s character, thus setting the theme of the film.
The trailer gives a peek into the melange of characters flitting in and out of the screen – drug-addled adults, lot of sex scenes, and a gangster with the choicest of words in his dialogue.
The film also stars Kunal Roy Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, Vijay Raaz, Deepak Dobriyal, Isha Talwar, Shenaz Treasurywala, Nary Singh & Akshay Oberoi. The film is directed by Akshat Verma. The film is slated for a January 12 release next year.

The film will release on December 28 next year. Early this year, reports suggested that the name of the film would be My Name Is Lakhan, in which Ranveer would play a corrupt cop. Reports also suggested that it would be a remake of Junior NTR’s Temper, for which Shetty had bought the rights. However, the director was quick to clarify that he would only include four to five scenes from Temper, and that his movie isn’t exactly a remake.
Vidya Balan Feels Only A Film Like Ijaazat Would Suit Her And SRK Together
Vidya Balan explains why she has never done a film with any of the Khans in Bollywood, referring to Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, and Saif Ali Khan. Speaking to DNA, Vidya being a huge fan of SRK, says only a film like Ijaazat would suit the two actors coming together on screen.
“I will happily do a film with any of them. But my role also needs to be proper because I’m extremely particular about that. For us (SRK and her) to come together, the characters need to suit us, too. It has to be something like an Ijaazat with Shah Rukh. I would love to do a relationship film with him, which is that sort of a mature love story,” she says.
