Buzz has been quite high for the film, thanks to Rajinikanth. After the failure of Lingaa, Rajinikanth seems to be on a revival mode, trying to reinvent his on screen image by teaming up with a young and new team. The cast had a photoshoot for the film last week, and we learn that Rajini will be sporting a salt-n-pepper wig, and beard for the film.

The supporting cast for Kabali includes Radhika Apte, Prakash Raj, Kalaiyarasan, Dhansika, and Attakathi Dinesh. Kabali is said to be a story about an ageing gangster, played by Rajinikanth. The film is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, and the technical team includes music director Santhosh Narayanan, editor Praveen KL and cinematographer Murali G Kabilan. Umadevi and Gaana Baala have written the lyrics for the film’s music.
