Kamal Haasan visited the family of K Balachander earlier today. The actor was unable to pay his last respects as he was in the United States at the time. Speaking to the media outside KB’s residence in Mylapore, Kamal said, “KB sir was a creative genius. He birthed many talents and films during his time in the industry. As his son, I will continue his work and make sure that I bring honour to his name.”
Uttama Villain, starring Kamal was the last Tamil project that KB was a part of. The film’s director Ramesh Arvind has announced that the movie will be dedicated to the memory of the Iyakkunar Sigaram.
