Kaththi and Poojai, scheduled to release this Deepavali, were censored yesterday. While Kaththi has been awaredd a U, Poojai has received a U/A. Vendhar Movies and Vishal Film Factory, the makers of Poojai, might approach the censor board on Monday to have the decision revised and request a U.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, Kaththi features Vijay and Samantha in lead roles. Producers Lyca Productions have arranged a global release for the film.
Poojai, starring Vishal and Shruti Haasan, is directed by Hari. The flick, touted to be an action entertainer, releases at 350 screens in Tamil Nadu and is expected to receive a grand opening in Telugu too.
