Bollywood actor Kay Kay Menon, known for his roles in films such as Rahasya, Haider and Baby, will make his Telugu cinema debut with Sanklap Reddy’s Ghazi. The film is about the mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi, a Pakistan submarine.
Apparently, Kay Kay joined the team as the replacement for Prakash Raj, who opted out of the project due to date constraints. He plays a Navy commander in the film, which features Taapsee Pannu as a refugee. The film will be shot predominantly in Hyderabad and Vizag. The makers have built two submarine prototypes which will be extensively used for the shoot.
