Keerthi Suresh is in the running to play the female lead in Rajini Murugan. The film has been in the news ever since it was announced as Sivakarthikeyan and director Ponram are teaming up once again after Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam.

The actress has been approached by the makers, Thirrupathi Brothers, but there has been no confirmation as yet. With filming set to begin in November, it is very likely that the official announcement about the cast and crew would be made soon.
Keerthi Suresh will make her Tamil film debut with the untitled AL Vijay – Vikram Prabhu project. She will also be seen in director Krishna’s next, Maane Thaene Peye.
