Actress Keerthy Suresh has been signed to play the female lead in director Bharathan’s upcoming film with Vijay. Shooting of this film, tentatively called Vijay 60 ,will commence sometime in April or May.
Earlier, there were reports that said actress Kajal Aggarwal would play the heroine. Keerthy Suresh was unavailable for a comment.

Recently, the film’s pooja was held in the city. Reportedly, Vijay Productions will be bankrolling this film, which will have tunes composed by music director Santhosh Narayanan, and camera cranked by cinematographer Madhie. Editor Praveen KL is also a part of this project. Actor Sathish who played Vijay’s sidekick in AR Murugadoss’s Kaththi will be playing an important role in the film.
Keerthy Suresh has Paambu Sattai, Prabhu Solomon’s MirattKeeu and an untitled film directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan in the pipeline.
