Kiara Advani is reportedly in talks with director Vignesh Shivan for SK17 starring Sivakarthikeyan. It is speculated that Alia Bhatt and Rashmika Mandanna are also in talks for the film.
Sources say that a confirmation cannot be given yet. Kiara Advani was last seen in the Hindi film Kalank, and before that in Vineya Vidheya Rama and Bharat Ana Nenu in Telugu. She is currently busy with a line of Bollywood films including Laxmmi Bomb – the remake of Kanchana, Kabir Singh, the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy, Good News and Shershaah.
Sk17 was announced by Lyca Productions in March, and a first-look poster was also released. This is Sivakarthikeyan’s first movie with Vignesh Shivan. Anirudh Ravichander is the music composer. The team will begin shooting in July and the film is slated for release next year.

Sivakarthikeyan teamed up with Vignesh Shivan last year for a film by KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green. But this was delayed due to unknown reasons, and the actor’s dates were used for Studio Green’s Mr Local directed by M Rajesh.
When SK17 was announced, Vignesh reportedly told Cinestaan they had been wanting to work together for a while. “Even before Naanum Rowdy Dhaan (2015), I had narrated a different script to him. But both of us got busy with other work. Now, I think everything is coming together.”
Meanwhile, a report by In.com has confirmed that Sivakarthikeyan has signed his next film with director Venkat Mohan of Ayogya fame. It will be produced by AGS Entertainment and is likely to begin after Thalapathy 63 wraps up. An official announcement is expected soon.
The actor has a number of projects lined up for release, including Hero with PS Mithran of Irumbi Thirai fame, a science fiction film with R Ravikumar, co-starring Rakul Preet Singh, and the Pandiraj directorial which began shoot last month.
