The soundtrack of Kochadaiiyaan has been added to the Oscars’ long list for Best Original Score, alongside 114 other movies. With music by AR Rahman, the album has proved to be very popular as it recently made it to the iTunes list of Best Albums this year. In addition to this, AR Rahman’s songs for Hollywood films – Million Dollar Arm and The Hundred Foot Journey – have also been selected for the Best Original Song award.
The final nominations will be announced next month.
