The title of director KS Ravikumar’s upcoming film with Sudeep will be officially announced on the Hindu festival day of Vinayaga Chathurthi, which falls on September 17. The film is a bilingual, simultaneously being made in Tamil and Kannada. Shooting of the film is currently underway in Bangalore. Earlier reports had suggested that the Kannada version of the film would be titled ‘Kottigobba 2’ and the Tamil version ‘Mudinja Ivana Pudi’. Actress Nithya Menen plays the female lead in the film. Sathish of Ethirneechal fame, Sadhu Kokila, Veena Sundar and several child artists comprise the supporting cast. The movie is being produced by Surappa and K Manju. Director KS Ravikumar’s last film was Lingaa, starring Rajinikanth, Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha. The film had mixed returns and is still mired in financial issues with distributors.
