“Life Knocks Me Down; I Get Up,” Malayalam Actress Back On Sets 1 Week After Ordeal

Interacting with fans for the first time since the assault, the Malaylam actress who survived a kidnap and assault near Kochi last month wrote on her Instagram account, “Life has knocked me down a few times, it showed me things I never wanted to see. I experienced sadness and failures. But one thing is for sure, I always get up.”

Actor Prithviraj, her co-star in their next film, declared his support for her over social media and vowed to not say “sexist and misogynistic” dialogues in his movies ever again.

The police have arrested all the main accused in the case and the actress is reportedly satisfied with the proceedings thus far. The men who had assaulted her in Kochi had originally intended to blackmail her.
