Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar has said that he will add a disclaimer in his upcoming movie, Indu Sarkar. According to an IE report, the director declared that the movie is 70% fiction and 30% real.
“Events have been dramatised for purpose of the film. I am going to put a disclaimer,” he said, addressing the media about the movie facing unnecessary censor cuts. Bhandarkar then reiterated that the movie is not “political”, but revolves around “the tale of a couple having different views about the emergency period”.
Indu Sarkar stars Kirti Kulhari, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles. The movie is slated for a July 28 release.
