The release date of Magalir Mattum starring Jyothika, Saranya Ponvannan, Urvashi and Bhanupriya has been postponed.
Directed by Bramma of Kuttram Kadithal fame, the film explores the concepts of women empowerment and feminism through the lives of these four women who go on a road trip.

The film, originally scheduled to release on August 11, has now been postponed to a later date. The makers wanted to avoid a clash with Dhanush’s Velaiyilla Pattathari 2, also releasing on the same date. The film’s new release date will be announced shortly, a spokesperson for the film told Silverscreen.
Magalir Mattum has been censored with a U certificate. It has Jyothika as a documentary filmmaker. Suriya produces the film under the banner of 2D Entertainment. Santhosh Narayanan is the music composer.
