Telugu cinema is currently going through one of it’s best phases. Recent Telugu releases like Mahanati, Bharat Ane Nenu and Rangasthalam have not only performed well at the domestic market but have surpassed other Indian movies at the international market. Despite big Hollywood releases like Avengers: Infinity War and Deadpool 2, these movies continue to fare well.
As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, these three movies have combined collected a total of 9 million USD.

Mahanati, a biopic on veteran actress Savitri, is performing well at the Indian box-office too. According to The Times of India, the film has raked in Rs 23.3 crores worldwide in nine days since its release on May 9. The film that also released in Tamil as Nadigaiyar Thilagam has reportedly collected Rs 12.84 crores in the Telugu speaking states alone.
Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu grossed Rs 161 crores in its first week. DNA report suggests that the film collected Rs 230 crores within 19 days of its release.
The political drama, featuring Mahesh Babu, reportedly crossed the Rs 200-crore mark.
Ram Charan-starrer drama Rangasthalam is continuing its good run at the box office.
The Hans India report reads that the film, which has crossed Rs 100-crore mark, collected Rs 85 crores alone in AP and Nizamuddin areas.
