Directors Mani Ratnam and Bharathiraja will unveil Karthik Subbaraj’s next. The film, reportedly with Prabhu Deva as the male lead, has been wrapped up. The title and first look of the film will be revealed shortly.
A PR representative of Subbaraj has confirmed that the unveiling will take place at a hotel in Chennai, containing details regarding cast, crew and filming. The unveiling by the two directors is only fitting since Subbaraj has professed his admiration for the two directors in the past.
The news of the project first came out early last month, taking most by surprise since the young director was supposed to start a film with Dhanush. National Award winning cinematographer Tirru is part of the project as is composer Santosh Narayanan.
Prabhu Deva, meanwhile, has signed a slew of projects in the south. He has Eng Mang Sang with Lakshmi Menon and Gulebagavali with Hansika Motwani.
He is directing Karuppu Raja Vellai Raja starring Vishal Krishna, Karthi, and Sayyesha Saigal, as well as a Hindi action film starring Sooraj Pancholi in the lead.
