Music composer AR Rahman released the trailer of Manju Warrier’s upcoming Malayalam movie A’hr aka Kayattam on Twitter last week.
Opening with the question “who are we actually?”, the trailer hints at a mystery thriller. The film has been billed as an adventure drama and has been directed by Sanal Kumar Sasidharan, the filmmaker behind projects such as Chola. Besides direction, Sasidharan has written the script, edited and designed sound as well. Warrier turns producer with this film, which is co-produced by Shaji Mathew and Aruna Mathew.

The trailer takes the audience through a Himalayalam landscape and a group of trekkers who are trudging along the Himalayan slopes. It introduces the trekkers without revealing Warrier’s identity till the very end. Warrier plays the role of a 40-year-old woman Maya.
Other actors include Ved Vibes, who played a notable role in Joseph, newcomer Gaurav Raveendran along with Sujith Koyikkal, and Bhupendra Khurana.
