Mehreen was recently seen in the Telugu film F2 – Fun and Frustration. She made her Tamil film debut in 2017 with director Suseenthiran’s Nenjil Thunivirundhal, opposite Sundeep Kishan. But her portions were later edited out because of the poor response to the film in theatres.
The shooting for her upcoming film, currently titled Dhanush 34, began on March 6 in Courtrallam. The team wrapped up the first schedule in a month.

Dhanush reportedly plays a dual role, and Sneha stars opposite one of the characters. Mehreen is likely to be paired with the second character. While details about their roles are not out yet, sources have confirmed that reports about Sneha playing Dhanush’s mother in the film are not true.
The film’s spokesperson told Silverscreen that Dhanush is shooting simultaneously for this film and Asuran by director Vetrimaaran. “He is shooting for Asuran now, and will resume this film after Asuran wraps up,” the source said.
In the first schedule, director Durai Senthilkumar filmed some important portions involving Dhanush and Sneha, who were last seen together onscreen 13 years ago in Selvaraghavan’s Pudhupettai.
