Director Mithran Jawahar is said to be scripting his next movie, focussing on women. The Uthama Puthiran director confirmed the news to DC.
“The script work in underway and we are giving final touches to it. I’ve been helming family dramas continuously, and this is the first time I will be directing a thriller. The untitled movie has five heroines and we will be finalising the cast in a week,” he stated.
The yet-to-be titled project will be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual and will be bankrolled by Shobha Rani. The shooting is expected to begin around mid August.
The filmmaker was to direct the remake of Malayalam movie, 100*C; the film was to begin last year, but has been delayed by demonetisation.
