Model Arthi Venkatesh (formerly Arti Aniruda) will make her acting debut with Solo. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan and is directed by Bejoy Nambiar. Bejoy Nambiar tweeted to announce that Arthi had joined the cast:

Arthi is married to cricketer Aniruda Srikkanth, and is well-known in Chennai’s fashion circuit. The aspiring actress also expressed her excitement at making her film debut on Twitter.

Solo is Bejoy Nambiar’s first Malayalam film. According to a source close to the film, Solo will be an anthology of four shorts, with Dulquer playing the lead in all four films.
