Mohanlal’s next film, which is being directed by Lal Jose, has been given a new title. The film will be called Velipatinte Pusthakam. The actor took to his official social media account to announce the title, on the occasion of his 57th birthday.

Anna Reshma (Angamaly Diaries) will play the female lead in the film. The supporting cast includes Anoop Menon, Siddique, Salim Kumar, Kalabhavan Shajon, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Sharanya, Arun, and Swapna.
Mohanlal is currently shooting for the film in Thiruvananthapuram.
Antony Perumbavoor will produce the film. Lyricists Vayalar Sarathchandravarma, Rafeeq Ahmed, Santhosh Varma, Anil Panachooran and Manu Manjith will work on the songs.
Benny P Nayarambalam has written the script.
