lNibunan, a Tamil cop-thriller, released its first look today. This Tamil-Kannada bilingual is titled Vismaya in Kannada. Directed by Arun Vaidyanathan of Kalyana Samayal Sadham fame, the movie has actor Arjun, Prasanna and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the lead roles. Navin is the music director of the film. Soon after the first look was released, #Nibunan was trending on twitter.

The movie is about the adventures of a police officer. The movie sees all the three lead actors donning the role of cops. The movie has Suhasini, Vaibhav Reddy, Sruthi Hariharan and Uma Riyaz Khan as part of the supporting cast.
The movie marks actor Prasanna’s debut in Kannada film industry. Prasanna had posted his photos sporting a beefed-up look, on Instagram. There have been speculations that this look is in preparation for Nibunan.
Director Arun Vaidhyanathan, confirmed that the shooting of the movie is complete, and it is gearing up for a September release. He explained the title: ‘Nibunan‘ means an expert, and the movie involves a team of experts solving crimes. He also added that he has written a song for the movie.
