The film is set to release on ShreyasET on October 24 on the occasion of Dusshera.
The film is directed by Nandamuri Balakrishna, who plays the lead as well.

The film was shelved after the sudden demise of actor Soundarya in a plane crash in 2004. Narthanasala marked the directorial debut of Nandamuri Balakrishna.
A Facebook post by the actor read that 17 minutes of footage from his film will now premiere online on NBK Theatre through Shreyas ET on October 24. While the film was launched on March 1, 2004, shooting was stopped midway after Soundarya died.
On Monday, Nandamuri Balakrishna took to Facebook to make the announcement about Narthanasala‘s release. He said that the revenue from the film will be donated to charity.
He has also played three roles in the film – that of Arjuna, Bruhannala and Keechakudu. Soundarya essayed the role of Draupadi while Sai Kumar played Duryodhanudu. Also, Srihari and Uday Kiran were roped in to play Bheemudu and Abhimayudu, respectively.
Produced by Pusapati Lakshmipati Raju, the makers had shot a significant portion of the film before it was dropped, reported India Today.
Nandamuri Balakrishna has appeared in over a hundred films in Telugu and has a career spanning 40 years. He is famous for his roles in Narasimha Naidu, Simha, and Legend, among others. He is the recipient of several awards as well including the Nandi Awards.
He is the son of the late actor and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, NT Rama Rao.
