In a recent interview to a magazine, actress Nandita talked about her role in Vijay-starrer Puli. She plays Vijay’s love-interest in a flashback portion and the actress hinted that the duo might have a song sequence together.
Nandita added that Vijay plays a dual role in the film, thus confirming the speculations regarding the same.
The shooting of Puli was wrapped up in May. The first look of the film will be released on Vijay’s birthday, June 22, and reportedly, the makers of the film are eyeing a September 17 release, coinciding with Vinayaga Chathurthi.
Directed by Chimbudevan, the film has a stellar cast that includes Vijay, Hansika, Shruti Haasan, Sridevi, Sudeep, Prabhu, Nandita, Vidyullekha Raman and many more artistes. Devi Sri Prasad composes music for the film and one of the songs is crooned by Vijay himself. Editing is handled by Sreekar Prasad, and the camera is wielded by Natarajan Subramaniam.
