Natchatchira Vizha, an event organised by the Nadigar Sangam in association with the Malaysian government, was a star-studded event. A celebrity cricket match between Indian and Malaysian artistes, performances by comedians, singers and actors marked the fund raising event at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil.
Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan were seen together for the first time since Rajini’s announcement of his political entry. Vijay, Surya, Arya, Vishal, Dhanush, Vikram, Vijay Sethupathi, Jayam Ravi, Siva Karthikeyan, Samantha, Amala Paul, Kushboo, Kajal Aggarwal and over 300 artistes the Tamil and and Malaysian film industry attended the event.
The proceeds will go towards a new Nadigar Sangam building. The foundations for the Nadigar Sangam building were laid in March last year by superstars Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan.
