Actors Nawazzudin Siddiqui, Fawad Khan and Sonam Kapoor won the top awards at the ongoing Indian Film Festival Of Melbourne.
At the event held at the iconic Melbourne Recital Centre on Saturday, Siddiqui and Kapoor were named the best actor and actress respectively for their roles in Raman Raghav 2.0 and Neerja. Fawad Khan won the diversity award for his contribution to Indian and Pakistani Cinema, while veteran actor Rishi Kapoor won the Excellence in Cinema Award.

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne awards celebrates the of cinema from India. The event saw performances by Shalmali Kholgade, Suzzane D’mello along with Pakistani singer Sara Haider.
Leena Yadav’s Parched, starring Radhika Apte, won for the best Indie Film, and Shakun Batra’s family drama Kapoor And Sons won the award for the best movie.
Both, Parched and Kapoor And Sons, were screened at the festival which started on August 11 and will come to a close on August 21.
Bollywood celebrities like Malaika Arora Khan, director Anurag Kashyap, actresses Neetu Kapoor, Rituparna Sengupta and Richa Chadda attended the event.
