Imaikkaa Nodigal, directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, has an impressive star cast that includes Nayanthara, Atharvaa Murali, Anurag Kashyap, and Raashi Khanna. The thriller will have Nayanthara playing the role of an investigative cop, according to reports. A source told Times Of India “The film revolves around a kidnapping incident, and Anurag is the villain. Nayanthara is playing the role of an investigative cop, and so, will have major screen space”
Ajay Gnanamuthu earlier clarified that Nayanthara will not be paired opposite Atharvaa but both the actors are the leads in the film. “The title (which translates to ‘Moments we don’t blink’) signifies the few moments in life when we see something engrossing and we forget to blink. There will be a particular scene in the film which will make the title all the more relevant.” the director said.

Cinematographer RD Rajasekar has been roped in to handle the camera. Unlike Ajay’s debut film Demonte Colony, Imaikkaa Nodigal will have songs, and Hip Hop Thamizha will compose the tunes for the film. 90% of the film will be shot in Bengaluru. Editor Bhuvan Srinivasan, art director Selvakumar, and costume designer Poorthi Pravin are a part of the team. Cameo Films is bankrolling this project.
Nayanthara, who is currently shooting for Imaikkaa Nodigal, will next star in another crime thriller titled Kolaiyuthir Kaalam.
