New stills of Nayanthara from her next project – Kolamaavu Kokila – have gone viral online. Clad in a simple skirt and t-shirt, with a backpack and her hair tied in a plait, Nayanthara’s character is seen wandering around with purpose in her eyes.
Reportedly, the actress plays a simple girl who has to deal with an unexpected situation. Said to be a female-centric drama, the film features her in the lead thus adding more to her already established ‘Lady Superstar’ tag.

Directed by Nelson Dhilipkumar, the film’s cast includes Saranya Ponvannan, Yogi Babu and Jacqueline in supporting roles, reported The Times of India. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director. The film has so far released a motion poster and one single ‘Edhuvaraiyo‘ which has a voiceover from director Gautham Menon.

Apart from this, Nayanthara has other films in the pipeline, including one with filmmaker KM Sarjun, Viswasam with Siruthai Siva, and Imaikka Nodigal with R Ajay Gnanamuthu. Karthavyam, the Telugu version of her Tamil film Aramm, will release on March 16.
