Neetu Chandra Joins STR’s ‘AAA’

Neetu Chandra will be in AAA

Neetu Chandra joins Shriya Saran and Tamannaah Bhatia as the third heroine on STR’s upcoming Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan‘s (AAA). Neetu Chandra was roped in recently, according to a report in TOI. The actress also confirmed her role via Twitter.

Neetu’s schedule will reportedly begin mid April, with much of the shooting taking place in Chennai and a foreign location. This news comes a week after the teaser release of Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan‘s (AAA).

Directed by Adhik Ravichandran of Trisha Illana Nayanthara fame, the movie has Silambarasan (STR) playing triple roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music director. 

Shriya, who was roped in mid-last year for the film, is expected to play the role of a middle-aged woman. The role was initially offered to Trisha. The second heroine is Tamannaah Bhatia, who was seen in the latest teaser having a crush on the much-older Ashwin Thatha played by STR. In an interview last year, Tamannaah said that her role is ‘effervescent not bubbly’.

Meanwhile, Neetu – who debuted in cinema with Bollywood film Garam Masala (2005) – is enjoying the success of her last film – the Tamil thriller Vaigai Express which released on 24 March. Neetu is also a theatre artist and is currently in Mumbai. She was part of Umrao Jaan – a play that went international. The bilingual – Hindi & Urdu – musical had her performing non-stop for two hours.
