Nivin Pauly has signed on to play the male lead in Guppy director John Paul George’s next film. The director took to his Facebook account to share the news:
“Thank you for all the love that you have given for Guppy. Here’s announcing my new venture and I am delighted to team up with Nivin Pauly this time,” George wrote.
Sameer Thahir will co-produce the film through Sameer Thahir Productions. George will also co-produce through his home banner. George is currently writing the script for the film, and hopes to start shooting the film by mid-2017.
Nivin, meanwhile, is busy with four projects. He has Santa Maria, the Tamil remake of Kannada film Ulidavaru Kandanthe; Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela with Althaf Salim, Sakhava with Siddhartha Siva, Kayamkulam Kochunni, and a film to be produced by Raja Rani director Atlee.
