Director Shakti Soundar Rajan has dismissed reports that Lakshmi Menon would play a ghost in his next film, which features Lakshmi Menon and Jayam Ravi. He reiterated that the film was not a horror film, but forms a completely different genre. Jayam Ravi had earlier stated that the film would be an edge-of-the-seat thriller.
Lakshmi Menon is excited about her role, which promises to be a change from her ‘shy, village belle’ on-screen persona thus far. Child artist Anika also essays an important role. The first schedule of the film has been completed in Ooty, and the second schedule will be underway in Hyderabad soon.
