‘Okkadu Migiladu’ Trailer Out: A Film On The LTTE And Sri Lankan Civil War

Upcoming Telugu film’s trailer Okkadu Migiladu is out and deals with war-torn Sri Lanka and the civil war that took place. Manchu Manoj plays Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) leader Prabhakaran and a student leader as well. 

The one-and-a-half minute trailer shows glimpses of torched villages, war at sea, women assaulted, and lots of men in camouflage wear fighting for liberation. The leader is heard saying, “All countries call us terrorists. If this struggle for freedom is terrorism, then we are terrorists!” 

Also, stars Suhasini Maniratnam, who voices her concerns about women’s safety. “Not at home, not in the police state. Not even in the Assembly?” she asks.

Okkadu Migiladu also features Anisha Ambrose. Ajay Andrews Nuthakki directs this film and SN Reddy and Lakshmi Kanth under the banner Padmaja Films India Pvt. Ltd. bankroll this project.
