Mysskin’s Psycho has set social media abuzz since morning with Udhayidhi Stalin’s look being the main area of focus. Photos of the actor, who’s also the film’s producer and who reportedly plays a blind man, have been doing the rounds.
The film is reportedly based on the tale of Angulimala (finger necklace) which is a central story in Buddhism. According to Buddhist literature Angulimala was a coldblooded bandit who murdered people and made a necklace of their fingers until his meeting with the Buddha, at which point he followed the Buddha to a monastery and embraced monkhood.
Aditi Rao Hydari’s first look too made the rounds on social media today.
Shoot for the film began a year ago in September 2018.

Meanwhile, today actor Nithya Menen took to social media to post about the film as well. “Promotions for Psycho starting soon! Mysskin what a master at his craft! One of the best filmmakers I’ve worked with by far. And one of the most sensitive human beings I’ve seen. Rare to find. Wait till you guys see this film. Can’t decide if I’m nervous or excited,” she posted on Instagram and Twitter.
Psycho is also Hitchcock’s most famous serial killer film. The film will have music by Ilaiyaraaja, who’s also composing for Mysskin’s film with Vishal Thupparivalan 2. Psycho also saw P. C. Sreeram working with Mysskin for the first time as cinematographer.
