Panduvam is a revenge thriller which has Siddhesh and Swasika in lead roles. The film releases on November 7 and deals with an important social issue. Siddhesh plays a investigative journalist in the film and has worked hard on getting his role right. The film is set in a medical college and will revolve around a gory crime. Actress Swasika has an important role to play in the proceedings and is thrilled that she gets to play a ‘modern’ character finally. “Of the six films I’ve done, I’ve played a village belle in everything. It was such a relief to have a makeover of sorts for this project. I play a psychologist and had to do a lot of homework for the role and I found the whole experience satisfying,” she said.
Directed by Keaton, Panduvam means rana sigichai – an ancient medical procedure.
