Kamal Hassan’s Indian 2 with director Shankar is being shot in Rajamundry Central Jail reportedly for a prison sequence. On Independence Day, last month, director Shankar had released a poster featuring Kamal Haasan. The poster featured a city with skyscrapers with Kamal Haasan striking a pose as Senapathy.
We had reported then that the actor had joined the film sets and shooting had begun. A source close to the film told Silverscreen that the shoot began on August 12. “Actors Siddharth and Rakul Preet Singh filmed their portions in Kotturpuram in Chennai, and Kamal Haasan joined them today. The team is currently in Ambattur. They will move to Hyderabad for a schedule later this month.” We also reported last month that comedian Vivekh will act with Kamal Hassan for the first time in Indian 2. Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Vidyut Jamwal, are also in the film reportedly.
Kamal, the politician has recently been quite active making his displeasure known to the Centre on both Hindi imposition and board exams for students of classes five and eight.
