The film is set in a village and will be a comedy, a stark contrast from his debut film and his upcoming murder-mystery Raja Ranguski. Ramesh Bharathi, the editor of Metro, directs Pistha. The film has two female leads – Malayalam actress Mrudula Murali and Arundhati Nair.
Comedians Yogi Babu, Sathish and Senthrayan are part of the cast. The film’s music is by Dharan, and this is his 25th project. The film goes on floors on August 2 in Karaikudi and Kumbakonam.
