Actress Pooja Jhaveri, who is currently shooting for actor Atharvaa’s Rukumani Vandi Varudhu, has been roped in to play the female lead in debutant director Vijay’s film. Actor Kathir, who catapulted to fame with Madha Yaanai Kootam, plays the hero in this yet-to-be-titled movie. Shooting of this movie will kick start in Madurai, sometime from October.
A Times of India report has claimed that this film will be set in a rural background, with Pooja and Kathir playing villagers.
Director Vijay has worked as an assistant to director SJ Suryah. Having started her career in Telugu, actress Pooja Jhaveri managed to bag director Prabhu Solomon’s untitled project with Dhanush. Actor Kathir is now awaiting the release of Kirumi.
