With the shooting of Paayum Puli concluded, and post-production work underway, director Suseenthiran has now confirmed that the first half of the movie has been edited and locked. He said he was completely satisfied with the outcome and has assured fans that they would love the movie.

Paayum Puli’s shooting wrapped up with a song shot at Mahabalipuram. The talkie portions of the movie had been completed in early June. Vishal is likely to essay the role of an undercover police officer. The first-look poster is yet to be unveiled, and is being eagerly awaited by fans. Previously, the duo of Vishal and Suseenthiran had teamed up for Pandiya Naadu, which had been extremely successful.
Paayum Puli features Vishal and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead. The film also has Nikitha Thukural, Jyoti Nooran, Samuthirakani, Soori, Aishwarya Dutta, Jayaprakash, Murali Sharma and Anandraj in supporting roles. Produced by Vendhar Movies, the movie has music composed by D Imman.
