Days after Prakash Raj’s column in the Kannada newspaper Udayavani was discontinued, the actor announced on Twitter that his new column will be coming in another Kannada daily – Prajavani.

The actor, soon after the murder of Kannada journalist Gauri Lankesh, had started writing for Udayavani. His column titled ‘Irudellavu Bittu’ was popular and was often against Hindutva politics, however, the newspaper discontinued it from January 4.

The editor, Shiva Subramanya, had said that the newspaper was looking for new writers as they have a new team and were looking for new writers.
