Clad in a green and mustard kanjeevaram saree, actor Priyamani wed her longtime beau Mustafa Raj in a private ceremony earlier this week. The actor arrived at a sub-registrar office in Bengaluru, along with her close friends and family for her marriage on August 23. Later, she held a grand reception at a private hotel in the city.
Mustufa Raj is a Mumbai-based entrepreneur, said to be behind the popular Celebrity Cricket League.
Prior to her wedding, Priyamani also had a Mehndi function.
Priyamani’s wedding reception was held at Elaan Convention Centre in JP Nagar, Bengaluru. The actor’s spokesperson told Silverscreen that Priyamani chose a midnight blue dress designed by actress Poornima Indrajith for the event. Mustufa was seen in a tailored black suit.
Several celebrities from the South Indian film industries were in attendance at the reception. Actors Bhavana, Adil Ibrahim and Neerva Bavlecha showed up for the event.
And a sangeet event as well.
Priyamani wore an outfit from Shemy for the function.
The events leading to her wedding and reception were all closed to the media.
Priyamani has said that she has no plans of taking a break right now. She will continue to act, and has revealed that she will be back to work two days after her wedding.
