Priyanka Chopra is now ranked 8th among the world’s 10 highest paid television actresses and is the first Indian to do so. The actress’ starring role in ABC TV show Quantico and impressive list of endorsements amounted to $11 Million in earnings, according to Forbes. This comes just two weeks after Deepika Padukone made it to the Forbes List of Highest Paid Actresses.
Modern Family star Sofia Vergara, who earned $43 million this year, topped the list for the fifth time. Actress Kaley Cuoco, who plays Penny in The Big Bang Theory with $24.5 million in earnings came second while The Mindy Project and The Office star Mindy Kaling took the third spot with $15 million.
Castle star Stana Katric, is placed at seventh position, although Castle came to an abrupt end earlier this year.

In the past year, she has starred in two Bollywood mega films (Bajirao Mastani and Jai Gangaajal) and will take her big-screen talent stateside later this year with one of the lead roles in Baywatch alongside Hollywood heavy-hitters including Dwayne Johnson, the world’s highest-paid actor.”
Priyanka is at present shooting for the second season of Quantico. In the thriller, Chopra plays CIA officer Alex Parrish who is on the run after being accused of crimes she did not commit. Season 2 will premiere late in September.
The actress is also ready with her Hollywood debut Baywatch, which will see her starring with Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. The film is slated for a summer 2017 release. Back in India, Priyanka has not signed on any film post Jai Gangaajal yet, but is producing a Marathi film titled Ventilator and a Punjabi film called Sarvaan.
