Producer Geetha, who has bankrolled films like Arindhum Ariyamalum, has been signed on to play the female lead in director Nagendran’s Kaaval which has Vemal in the lead role, reported Deccan Chronicle. It is said that Kaaval is Geetha’s first film as a heroine even though she has played cameo roles in films that she has produced. Geetha plays a girl who works for an event management company in Kaaval, which is said to be a cop story.

Reportedly, Geetha refused to use a body double for the action sequences in the movie. Sources say that the action sequences in the film have come out really well.
Kaaval is based on real life incidents and ‘will have a huge message for the youth of today’. Recently, the audio composed by GV Prakash was launched and has been receiving positive reviews from the audience.
Initially, the movie was was titled Nee Ellam Nalla Varuvada, but, was later changed to Kaaval.
