Actor Parthiepan, last seen in Naanum Rowdy Dhaan (2015) has begun shooting for his next film Koditta Idangalai Nirapuga which he will also direct.
The film’s title was revealed on 14 July in the form of a video and its logo bearing the red lips of a woman mouthing the title.

Parthiepan confirmed to Silverscreen that the shooting began on 15 July, and promised more details shortly.
The film is partially produced by smaller producers Reel Estate Company and Bioscope Film Framers. Following the Hollywood trend – which Kannada films such as U-Turn have as adopted in the recent past – Koditta Idangalai Nirapuga is crowd funded.
The music of the film is composed by C Sathya of Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran (2016) fame and lyrics are by Madhan Karky. MV Paneer Selvam of April Maadhathil (2006) fame is the cinematographer of the film. The lead roles are yet to be confirmed.
Parthiepan announced recently that he has two other projects in the pipeline. One is with Vishnu Vishal and Sri Divya in a film directed by Suseenthiran called Maaveeran Kittu. Parthiepan plays a supporting role in the film. The film is known to be based on true events.

Parthiepan’s other film, Thittam Poattu Thirudura Kootam, is with debutant director Sai Sudarshan starring actor Chandran of Kayal fame, and Satna Titus in the lead. The film was officially launched on 15 July.
Parthiepan has also signed a film with Sri Thenandal Films whose shooting will take place in October. Meanwhile, Sri Thenandal Films recently announced that their 100th film – a huge project – will be directed by Sundar C. They are yet to finalise the actors and crew for the film. Parthiepan was unavailable for further comments.
