Actress Raai Laxmi, who was last seen in Aranmanai, has been roped in to deliver a guest performance in director AR Murugadoss’s Hindi film Akira, which has Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role.
The actress took to Twitter to announce that she will be making her Bollywood debut through AR Murugadoss’s directorial. Raai has been shooting her portions for the movie in the past couple of days. Reportedly, she will be seen sharing screenspace with director-actor Anurag Kashyap, who plays the antagonist in the movie.
Akira is said to be the remake of Tamil hit film, Mouna Guru. It has Sonakshi Sinha and her father Shatrughan Sinha in the lead roles. Produced by Fox Star Studios, this movie has camera cranked by cinematographer RD Rajasekar.
