Radhe Shyam: Pooja Hegde Gives an Update on Prabhas Starrer, Says Only 7-10 Days of Shoot Left

Pooja Hegde, the Indian actor, confirmed that Radhe Shyam, her upcoming multilingual film with actor Prabhas, is in its last leg of shoot. During the media interaction, she also added that the producers will soon take a call on the release date.

Hegde said, “We still have a small portion left to shoot. The pending shoot of Radhe Shyam will be wrapped up in 7 to 10 days.”

”Prabhas is doing a romantic film after a really long time, and so am I. Radhe Shyam is a mature love drama. I’m excited about the film,” she further said.

While majority of the shooting took place in Hyderabad, a few portions were also shot in Italy. On Wednesday, Prabhas was seen heading back to Hyderabad from Italy.

The previous release date announced by the filmmakers was July 30. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, the film has been delayed and the shoot was only resumed in June.

Talking to Silverscreen India, the dialogue writer of the film’s Hindi version, Hussain Dalal, earlier said, “We are tweaking a few things in the script and a bit of the shooting is also left.”

Helmed by Radha Krishna KumarRadhe Shyam is a romantic drama set in 70s Europe. The film marks Kumar’s second directorial venture after the 2015 Telugu action film Jil. It is bankrolled by Gopi Krishna Movies, UV Creations, and T-Series production banners.

Radhe Shyam will release in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Earlier, Nikil Murugan, the publicity manager of the Tamil version, told Silverscreen India that the film will not be dubbed in other languages but would be shot separately.

The music for the film is composed by Justin Prabhakaran for the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions. Mithoon and Manan Bhardwaj will be composing music for the Hindi version.

Along with Prabhas and Hegde, the film also stars BhagyashreeMurali Sharma, Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi, Sasha Chettri, Sathyan, and several others in important roles.
