Post-production work for Rajini Murugan is making brisk progress, confirmed actor Sivakarthikeyan’s close friend and producer RD Raja on Twitter. Also, composer D Imman will begin re-recording sometime in the first week of August. Raja also added that the release date of Rajini Murugan will be announced around the same time.

Earlier, it was announced that the movie will be released on July 17. But the film was postponed due to technical delays. Audio of Rajini Murugan was launched on June 16, and opened to lukewarm response with Ennamma Ipdi Panreengalema being the pick of the album.
