‘I’m proud of you’: Rajinikanth’s message for Soundarya
Soundarya R Ashwin’s debut movie, Kochadaiiyan is releasing only next week, but the fledgling filmmaker has already started receiving awards for her work. This week, NDTV decided to honour the young director with the Indian of the Year Award for Technical Innovation. Soundarya, who was dressed in a pretty red and gold salwar, was presented the award by Bollywood actor, Ranbir Kapoor. In a touching video message shown at the ceremony, actor Rajinikanth wished his daughter well and revealed that he was ‘very proud of her work in Kochadaiiyaan’.
