Telugu actor Ram Charan, who was last seen in Vinaya Vidheya Rama (2019), has signed a new film where he will collaborate with filmmaker Gowtam Tinnanuri (Jersey), the makers of the project announced on social media on the occasion of Dussehra on Friday.
The upcoming film, tentatively titled RC16, will be produced by the UV Creations banner along with NVR Cinema. While the information on the cast, technical crew, and other details have not yet been announced, the film will mark the maiden collaboration of the actor with the filmmaker. Sharing a note of appreciation that Ram Charan wrote after watching Jersey, Tinnanuri tweeted, “I have treasured this note since quite some time and was hoping to share it with the world when I get an opportunity to work with you. Never knew it will come so soon. Thank you for all the love sir.”
Ram Charan has a slew of projects lined up. His pan-Indian magnum opus RRR, with director SS Rajamouli, co-starring Alia Bhatt, Junior NTR, Ajay Devgn, among others, will release in theatres on January 7, 2022. Ram Charan will also be seen alongside his father and actor Chiranjeevi in Acharya, directed by Koratala Siva.
