Actor Rana Daggubati, who was seen in a cameo role in Ajith’s Arrambam, has been roped in by director Bhaskar of Bommarillu fame for the remake of the Malayalam blockbuster, Bangalore Days.

The Times of India has reported that Daggubati will reprise Fahadh Faasil’s role in the remake while Arya and Bobby Simhaa will essay Dulquer Salmaan’s and Nivin Pauly’s roles respectively.
Earlier, Siddharth and Samantha were rumoured to be a part of the project, but sources say that Sri Divya has been roped in instead of Samantha.
Shooting will commence on March 20 and the team will travel to Singapore for the second schedule of the movie. It is said that the story is set in the backdrop of Singapore instead of Bangalore.
Composer Santhosh Narayanan will be scoring the music.
